WOODLAND HILLS, Calif., June 8, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Farmers Insurance® today announced it has awarded veteran-led global disaster response organization, Team Rubicon, with a $1 million grant in support of the nonprofit's emergency response, long-term disaster recovery and COVID-19 vaccine accessibility efforts. The donation will help Team Rubicon continue its foundational mission of rapidly deploying teams of skilled veterans and volunteers to locations impacted by natural disasters and humanitarian crises, and help fund its ongoing focus on providing COVID-19 vaccine distribution support operations in underserved communities across the country.

Established in 2010 with the goal of quickly responding to large-scale disasters, Team Rubicon unites the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders and civilian volunteers to rapidly provide relief to communities in need. Farmers has partnered with Team Rubicon since 2015 as part of its philanthropic focus on disaster resilience.
