CHICAGO, Nov. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Farmers Insurance claims personnel and agents are helping customers who suffered damages from the tornadoes and multiple storms that swept through the upper Midwest over the weekend, including communities in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Missouri.

To provide local residents with immediate assistance, Farmers has also deployed one of its state-of-the art Mobile Claim Center (MCC) buses to Washington, IL.

Customers are invited to visit the MCC to file a claim and begin the rebuilding process and obtain information about other local resources available to them. Non-customers can also visit to take advantage of the MCC's communications equipment to contact loved ones an obtain information about other relief resources. Farmers will also be deploying two of its Customer Care Vehicles (CCV) to other communities in the impacted region.
Hawkes also advises that all Farmers customers who have suffered damage from the storms should call their agent to begin the claims process.
Customers can also go online to file a claim at www.Farmers.com or they can download the free iClaim app to file a claim.
