CLEVELAND, July 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Farmers Insurance Group of Companies® has launched an eight city tour of fire departments to show the capabilities of its disaster response vehicles deployed to disasters at a moment's notice to help customers and non-customers alike. The mobile claims vehicles have just returned from duty at recent natural disasters in Texas, Tennessee, Arkansas, Missouri and Alabama.
"We are touring with one of our one-of-a-kind Mobile Claims Command Center Buses (MCC) and one of our fleet of Customer Care vehicles (CCV)," noted Dan Lewis, Farmers Ohio State Executive Director. "Farmers thanks Cleveland Fire Chief Paul Stubbs for accepting our invitation to visit the Department," Lewis added.
"We will also conduct a BBQ cookout for the Cleveland firefighters and attendees, and conduct tours of our mobile claims vehicles," Lewis explained. "The vehicles have state-of-the-art satellite communications equipment including satellite based laptops and cell phones for customers and non-customers to use, plus food, supplies, water, cold and hot drinks for everyone.
