LOS ANGELES, Feb. 22, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Jerry Carnahan has been named President and CEO of Farmers New World Life, effective March 1, 2011. Prior to taking on this new leadership role, Carnahan held the position of Executive Vice President of Field Operations for Farmers Insurance. Carnahan will report directly to David Dietz, CEO of Zurich Global Life North America.

Carnahan has led the Field Operations team at Farmers since 2005 and has worked in a variety of claims, marketing, sales and executive management positions. He will be relocating to Farmers New World Life headquarters in Mercer Island, Washington.
