That's why the claims department at Farmers is launching a blog, appropriately titled www.Farmers-Cares.com. It will offer tips to help with prevention, insight on navigating the world of insurance and examples of the company's outreach to communities and people. Assistant Vice President of Claims Communications Paul Quinn will write and serve as editor of the blog. "There is a lot of misinformation about insurance companies and the people who work there," said Bryan Murphy, Executive Vice President and Chief Claims Officer at Farmers Insurance. "Quinn's blog will put a voice and a face into the conversation."
Quinn's experience reaches far and wide. He has worked in Claims, the Actuarial department, he ran State Operations for Indiana and now works in Catastrophe Response. He rides on the CatBus that shows up on the scene of storm disasters to offer help to victims, specifically property owners.
