Paul Patsis Appointed Executive Vice President of Farmers Group, Inc. and President of Market Management

F. Robert Woudstra, Farmers Insurance Group of Companies CEO has announced the appointment of Paul Patsis, a 35 year insurance veteran, to executive vice president of Farmers Group, Inc., and president of Market Management. Mr. Patsis moves to his new position from president and chief executive officer of Farmers Life.

In May 1998, Mr. Patsis joined Farmers as President and CEO of Farmers Life. He was promoted to Executive Vice President, Farmers Group, Inc., effective January 2007. From 1989 until May 1998 Mr. Patsis served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Marketing One Incorporated. Prior to joining Marketing One Inc., Mr. Patsis served as President of Colonial Penn Life and Annuity Company. He also served in various roles with INA/Cigna in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

A native of New Jersey, Mr. Patsis received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Villanova University, Villanova, Pennsylvania.

Mr. Patsis and his wife Jean, have two children. They will relocate to Los Angeles from Mercer Island, Washington.
