WOODLAND HILLS, Calif., Dec. 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Farmers Group, Inc.® today announced Tom Rogers has joined the organization as Chief Investment Officer effective December 1.

Rogers spent the past 15 years at Zurich Insurance in various roles including the appointment as Chief Investment Officer for Switzerland in 2015. Prior to Zurich, he held various executive positions at Fortis and at Merrill Lynch. Rogers holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rutgers University and a Master of Business Administration degree from New York University, as well as a CFA Charterholder.
