As a result, Farmers Insurance has seen more than 3,500 claims reported across these states, where agents and adjusters are continuing to assist customers. The states are: Colo., Conn., Del., Iowa, Ill., Md., Mich., N.D., N.J., N.Y., Pa., S.D., Va., and Wis.
Leveraging the latest in weather technology Farmers specialized response groups have worked to coordinate and provide a swift response for customers across the country.
Farmers Insurance expects to receive nearly 7,000 claims from these weather events and damages totaling more than $55 million.
Farmers customers who sustained damage from the storms and have not yet submitted a claim may do so by contacting their agent, via the www.farmers.com web site, or by calling the 24-hour claims center.
