Farmers Insurance Agent William McDougall Opens New Office in Southington, Connecticut; Ready to Serve Greater Southington Community
Southington, Connecticut (April 21, 2015) – Newly-appointed Farmers Insurance agent William McDougall is celebrating the opening of his new office at 100 Queen Street in Southington Connecticut. Farmers Insurance began providing insurance and financial services to Connecticut consumers January 1, 2015.
“I love being part of this community and I’m excited to be able to offer local residents first–rate customer service, industry-leading insurance products and competitive rates,” said McDougall, Southington’s first Farmers agent.
The office is conveniently located in the 100 Queen Street Professional Center Plaza in Southington. McDougall’s new office will also enable him and his staff to become even more involved in local organizations helping to give back to the community. McDougall is currently a member of the Southington Chamber of Commerce and a committee member for “Good Cause Gifts,” a local non-profit which supports the hiring of adults with special needs. In addition, last year McDougall served as Treasurer of a non-profit called "Hero Games" working with local first responders to raise money for The American Cancer Society.
McDougall brings a wealth of business knowledge to his new agency with 10 years of retail and business banking experience, along with seven years working with his father in the family restaurant business. A key component of his years of training and experience is the commitment he feels for the community he serves.
