Farmers Insurance Names Financial Services Veteran, John Mueting, As Head of Farmers Financial Solutions

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Farmers Insurance, one of the nation's leading multi-line insurer groups, has named John Mueting as its new Head of Farmers Financial Solutions (FFS), the company's broker dealer business unit that offers a variety of financial service products to consumers.

In his new role, Mueting will be responsible for leading the FFS team and for growing the number of licensed Farmers agencies that sell Farmers Financial Solutions products.

Prior to joining Farmers, Mueting was Vice President of Global Accounts for Pershing, LLC.  Previously, he spent more than 20 years with Allstate Insurance where he held a number of senior leadership positions, including responsibility for distribution of financial services through the insurer's property and casualty and life specialist distribution channels.
