"Ryan Wolk has been a Farmers agent since August 2000, and in 2011, he set a new record for the highest sales production ever in the State of Missouri," stated Farmers Senior Vice President for Field Operations in the Northern Zone, Deb Settle.
Ryan also qualified in 2011 for the Million Dollar Life Insurance sales Round Table and Championship honors. Despite having an already large agency in a small community, his agency managed to grow in all lines of Farmers Insurance including earning a spot on the Farmers Financial Services Wall of Fame. He's also very active in his community of Saint Genevieve, particularly in his support of local high school sports.
Ryan was also named Farmers Missouri Agent of the Year for 2010 at the annual awards dinner held in May. It was the second year in a row that he earned that honor.
"Matt Wolk has been a Farmers District Manager since August 2006. "We ask a lot from our district managers. We ask them to recruit and train agents, but our best district managers excel in leading and motivating others. Matt Wolk embodies those qualities," Settle said.
Matt also gives a lot of his time in his community and has the distinction of being a major fundraiser for the March of Dimes, the premier charitable organization supported by Farmers Insurance. His annual March of Dimes bowling tournament is legendary, and it's one of the state's biggest fundraising events.
He was also named Farmers Missouri District Manager of the Year for 2010 at the annual Farmers district manager awards banquet in June. He has served as district manager since October 2006.
The brothers are not new to the family of Farmers Insurance. Their father, Robert Wolk, was a Farmers agent and District manager for 30 years. He retired in 2006 after qualifying for Presidents Council an incredible 19 times during his career.
A very touching moment took place after the Wolk brothers received their awards. They moved to the side of the stage to take a picture together and were completely surprised when their father Robert and mother Linda, who were waiting in the wings, stepped out onto the stage to congratulate their sons. It was a true Farmers family photo and worthy of a standing ovation.
