Farmers Insurance and Coast National Insurance Company donated a vehicle, wrecked in a drinking and driving accident, to the Jr. Student Council for the raffle. The event will be held tonight at the Indian Springs School which is located 35 miles north of Las Vegas and home of Creech Air Base.
"On behalf of the students and staff of the Indian Springs Schools, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Coast National Insurance Company and Farmers Insurance Group for their donation," stated Dr. Brian Wiseman, Principal, Indian Springs School.
"This vehicle will be used to demonstrate to our students the life-threatening possibilities associated with drinking and driving. Students will have the opportunity to smash the vehicle with a sledgehammer to symbolically demonstrate our school's desire to stop drinking and driving," Dr. Wiseman added.
Veronica Allen, Jr. Student Council President at Indian Springs Schools, thanked the insurance companies for their donation and noted the Homecoming "Smash Down DUI's" will send a strong message to all students about not drinking and driving.
