LOS ANGELES, Jan. 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Dan Lewis, current Farmers Pacific Zone Agency Manager, has been appointed Farmers Ohio State Executive Director, effective immediately, according to Farmers Insurance.

After a successful career with Charles Schwab and Jackson National Life, Mr. Lewis began a career with Farmers in 2005 as a Life sales specialist in the Colorado state office. In 2007 he was promoted to division marketing manager, also in Colorado. In 2010, he was promoted to the Agencies department in Home Office, where he took on the role of Pacific Zone agencies manager.
"With Dan's assistance, the Pacific Zone led all markets in Career agent Appointments per district manager which led to a significant improvement in agents' career successes in the cities in which they live and work," Brooks said.
Mr. Lewis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration Finance from Regis University, Denver CO. He graduated with honors, Magna Cum Laude and is a member of the Alpha Sigma Nu national honor society.
A native of Colorado, Mr. Lewis is active in coaching sports his children participate in, Boy Scouts of America and the March of Dimes. He is in the process of moving to the Columbus, Ohio area with his spouse Emily and his four children.
