Fire season is moving into its peak months and due to the extreme dry weather we must all be vigilant in our quest to prevent forest fires. "The fire threat in California is year-round and we want to sound the fire prevention alarm to all Californians to be prepared in the peak fire months ahead," explained Kirk Tweedy, Farmers State Executive Director. "We thank the CAL FIRE/California State Fire Marshal's office and the California Fire Safe Council for joining us at a press conference to get the fire preparedness messages to all Californians."
"We are pleased to partner with the California Fire Safe Council and Farmers Insurance, to continue to educate Californians about the need to implement fire prevention methods in and around their homes," noted State Fire Marshal Kate Dargan. "October is a peak month for fires, and we hope all families are prepared and focused on a family disaster/evacuation plan."
